Muslims Were Banned from the Americas as Early as the 16th Century
- codevark 7y agoPerhaps centuries-old discrimination is one of the reasons why the Muslim world, while embracing some of the most egalitarian and forward-thinking concepts, at times seems stuck in the 7th Century. Maybe it's not totally their fault, but partially ours? (non-disclaimer: one of the gentlest and most kind people I know is Muslim, and that's cool by me.) (I'm obviously not Muslim ha but if you need a god, that's ok, I guess.)
