I think unfortunately the elite class has morphed into an extractive leech on lower classes to an extent we haven't seen in recent history in the west. This helps explain the rise of nationalism, xenophobia, etc.
This title would be better corrected to "The 2010s Have Been Amazing *For the Type of Person with a WSJ Subscription".
