- pressurefree 7y agowhy raytrace the image when you can raytrace as sampling nyquist range and use object tree, where objects are say a airplane flying would be itself raytraced as an object, and placed in the field image, so raytracing for looks is kept localized, and raytracing for position is used more sparingly
