Article quoted 2500 person years, over a period of a couple of years, to move from a Lloyds system to a clone of an existing Banco Sabadell system. Does that seem like a lot of effort for 5 million accounts? Maybe worth it since they were already paying EUR 100 million per year to license the old Lloyds system. I’d bet they moved from one big honking RDBMS to another. Curious if old and new were different DB vendors, if anyone here has insight.
