Why do you think so many startups still headquarter in SF even though there’s much better (and cheaper) places? by virtue of the cost of living alone you’re going to end up with a much younger work force. Personally, I don’t mind that someone who wants unwavering and unquestionable commitment to the company (slavery) passes up on me.
