- andreaja 16y agoIt really would, but last I heard they'd decided on (and implemented) hg as their DVCS on the serverside. Fortunately, "clientside" git integrates with more serverside VCSes than any other system I'm aware of :)
- newman314 16y agoI was under the impression that they were still using Perforce or has that changed?
- durin42 16y agoNearly everything internal is still Perforce. The Android group (and maybe bits of Chrome? not sure) is nearly the only user of git.
- js2 16y agoChromium uses svn, ChromiumOS uses git.
- andreaja 16y agoAh, I was referring to their public hosting. durin42 seems to have better information on their internal stuff.
- jackolas 16y agoright hand meet left hand.
- hasenj 16y agoExcept .. why would anyone use code.google.com instead of github?
- ary 16y agoAt IO 2009 there was a talk about integrating Mercurial into code.google.com project hosting. As I recall it was referred to as the "first" DVCS to be integrated because its requirements lined up nicely with Google's existing infrastructure. It was implied that other DVCS's would be considered for integration in the future.
