Has anyone had any luck with SteamVR and the HTC Vive? I tried Proton a few times, was hugely impressed but the one pain point remaining is that I can never see

Has anyone had any luck with SteamVR and the HTC Vive? I tried Proton a few times, was hugely impressed but the one pain point remaining is that I can never seem to get the headset to work properly I play a fair bit of Beat Saber so it kinda forced me back on Windows 10 :(

Do different headsets work very differently in terms of software requirements? I have the Valve Index and it works fine under Ubuntu (both for native and for Wine/Proton games).

It works for me, but it seems to have performance issues
