Some women pretend they're interested in a man, but they're more interested in their wallet ('trophy girlfriend/wife'). Haha, as I've gotten older, this seems more and more accurate. I'm not saying it's all about money, but more like women are interested in one set of benefits a man provides, and men are interested in another set, and they're not necessarily inclusive. I've traveled and lived in several different countries. Some of them seem less interested in pretending it's all about Disney, partners forever, and are more relaxed about relationships being mutually beneficial without all the pretense (i.e. women that are essentially offering sex and companionship in exchange for financial support, and the amounts wanted are openly negotiated. I almost prefer that to the courtship rituals we use in the West.
