I agree. To think that those kind of actions were so mishandled on the most high profile FBI investigation in decades is completely horrifying. Not to even mention the falsifying of evidence. If they do that to someone as high profile as Trump how much chicanery happens with cases involving everyday people.
As an aside, Glen Greenwald is in my opinion one of the last remaining true journalists that hasn't been overcome with partisan slant.
- lph 7y agoGlenn Greenwald is massively partisan. It’s evident by omission, in the things he /doesn’t/ cover. He’s a constitutional lawyer, FFS, and yet he is silent on the abuses of power of Trump and the GOP. Considering how many of his critical articles against the FBI and the Democrats are built on a supposed respect for the rule of law, one might expect the epic and overt corruption of the party in power to warrant some of his attention... but he is silent. I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts spewing Russian propaganda talking points.
- about_help 7y agoPure deflection. Pressure your Senators to remove Trump from office for the multitude of proven crimes and then we can go after the FBI for their procedural mistakes. Conflate the two and you are supporting treason against the United States, assuming you are a citizen of the US of course.
