Does it say somewhere in the article that the government is attempt to prevent its publication? Sounds like they're just stripping his profits.
- gknoy 7y agoWhen one cannot prevent the publication, one can prevent any reward that the author might get from it. It's not a far stretch to consider this to be aimed (at least partially) at discouraging such publications.
- mark-r 7y agoIf by profits we're talking about the publisher's and not just Snowden's, this could be a very effective way of getting the book off the shelves.
