In aggregate, search is orders of magnitude faster because it's so much more accurate. When was the last time you had to think about your search terms?
The other day I was thinking about the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon, but I couldn't remember the name of it. So I googled "when you suddenly notice something everywhere" and Baader-Meinhof was first result. Go back to 1983 (maybe even 2003) and let me know how long it takes to structure your search terms so you get the right answer.
- AnIdiotOnTheNet 7y ago> When was the last time you had to think about your search terms? Literally every day because Google has become so ridiculously bad at guessing what I want. I'm trying to tell it what I want, but it keeps throwing out words or adding synonyms or whatever else the fuck it does.
