Last night I downloaded an app update on my handheld computing device (a phone). It took around 30 seconds to download and install the 100mb update, on a internet connection I can use pretty much anywhere in Europe for £10/mo. 15 years ago I would have been waiting 20 minutes for a single song to download on a hard wired PC.
