I woke up the other day to find my mouse broken, and believe me, on macos, it's very hard to do anything without the mouse. I had to look up all sort of crap from my phone just to find out how to reboot the thing.
- username90 7y ago> it's very hard to do anything without the mouse Is it? I tried your example on windows and I could shut off the computer easily (alt-f4), then I opened up a browser (windows button, write chrome), navigated to your post, wrote this message and logged in without touching the mouse. I've found that you can navigate most websites without a mouse, as you can just move to the links by using the browser search and then click then with ctrl-enter. Edit: I even managed to go back and edit this message without touching the mouse.

- username90 7y agoThen why do people like mac computers? I never liked them and I grew up with them.

- jbjbjbjb 7y agoCommand-spacebar is probably what you’re looking for And there are many ways to restart the Mac using shortcuts: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201236 https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201236
