I belong to the current generation, I am hindu and I do not believe that.
India's secular nature is what binds this country together. I do not want my friends to be persecuted in the country they were born in and lived all their life, because they belong to another religion.
This is against every core value the constitution of India was drafted upon.

- yumraj 7y agoThis law applies to refugees, not to Indian citizens. So still unclear on the confusion.
- pavish 7y agoAny Indian citizen knows how poor documentation is in India. People born after 1970, those who have born and lived all their life in India, those who hold school certificates, voter IDs, even Passports, can only prove their citizenship by providing documents of their ancestors. How can anyone justify this?
