Their data was using the average high during the hottest month, not one off days. But it would be good to know the extremes. Personally I enjoy a slightly cooler temperature, but still above freezing. Edinburgh is my perfect climate. August highs rarely above 25C and January lows rarely below 2C. Jacket in winter and a fan in summer are all you need to live comfortably.
