The problem with this:
out/image-id: $(shell find src -type f)
is that if you delete a file from src (without also modifying or adding a file), make won't consider image-id to need rebuilding
- microtherion 7y agoAnother problem is that if one of the input files itself is generated, it might not get rebuilt after a "make clean", because the ultimate target no longer knows it's dependent on it.
