Makes me very reluctant to build something in Google's cloud. Can they not see value in being third as long as it is profitable?
- jey 7y agoYeah, why not play the long game by focusing on providing a great experience for developers? Enable today's hobbyists to start the companies of tomorrow on your platform, and let go of chasing the #1 spot with enterprise customers of today. Cloud computing as a market isn't going anywhere, and demand is only going to grow for the foreseeable future. Google already has a leg up on this, their cloud offerings and APIs make a lot more sense than AWS.
