Read up on the story yourself, the myriads of scams and thieveries along the way. Read up on the people involved, their past actions ... read up of actions that happened before and after. Now think about who benefited of the scams and would keep benefiting if things stayed the same. I got no personal stake in the matter but I can see that the wronged parties would learn a lot and would help a lot of people recover their losses if they could at least rule out at least one of the alternatives.
