  Wasn't there a death certificate? The problem I have is that I smell mob mentality of being perfectly okay to impinge upon rights because their own mental model of justice allows it.

    There was a death certificate, but it was from Jaipur, where corruption and bribery are apparently fairly common. I don't have any dog in this fight, but the story is pretty interesting.     congratulations. This is the stupidest thing I have read all day. Anyone can get an Indian death certificate forged for $100.
