Someone should correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like he's wearing a first-gen Vive, which is surprisingly light (especially when you swap the tether of a cord with the wireless adapter). I've got nearly 2500 hours in VR and sometimes spend up to 8 hours a day with it on, and it is way less big/bulky than it looks. I put giant googly eyes on mine, even. :)
