Do you know of any reason why the gap buffer couldn't be easily replaced by a proper rope?
- dfox 7y agoas far as how the emacs API works it should not be an issue, but on the other hand there is bunch of elisp code, that realy expects an gap buffer based implementation and in turn is depended by who knows what...
