- coldtea 7y agoI guess those idiots in the 70s who built UNIX, who didn't use the terms "refactoring" and "technical debt" were also clueless.
- koonsolo 7y agoFully agree with you (from a 40 yo). I really love the term "technical debt", because it says exactly what it is, and can be communicated properly to management. As long as you have debt, you will keep paying for it until you pay it off. Very clear and precise, love it! Refactoring a bit less, but it is also a very clear term so other people know what you are doing.
