I know lots of people who rent or buy-a-share-in apartment blocks. Each apartment block is owned by a company spun off of the construction company that built it.
There are all in a particular european city I am familiar with, but I imagine that system works in other countries too.
- imgabe 7y agoI work in building design in the US and that's not what I've seen here. There are investment companies that finance building / renovating buildings. They might hold onto it until they get it filled with tenants then they sell it to a different investor who runs it. The construction company that does the building is unrelated to either of these. They specialize in construction, which is a completely different skill set from property management.
