"Dating" site imports 250,000 Facebook profiles, without permission

  You can check to see if your profile was scraped by adding your Facebook user id (not the alias) to http://lovely-faces.com/index.php?id_face= http://lovely-faces.com/index.php?id_face=

    It gives this error message: "Sorry the web site not work. You should try again. Connection to SQL server is failed. Error 1045". And then it keeps retrying to connect. I read the Rhizome article which claims this is part of an "art project" and that they actually scraped 1 million (not merely 250,000) Facebook profiles. This is really strange.

    I found the same lovely-faces URL on this page as mentioned above. Same "Error 1045" message.
