Everyone is attempting to rise to the level of their competence and ambition. I've had the opportunity of dealing with a few billionaires, and their teams. It showed me that we are all just trying to navigate a difficult world.
- shantly 7y agoThe more exposure I get to folks way “above” me in business, or riches, or whatever, the more convinced I am that very few people at any level are really much good at what they do and most of what goes on is just very serious role-playing and play-pretend, which realization is at least as horrifying as it is comforting.
- nomel 7y agoDon't we all want to be in a position that puts us at the edge of our comfort and abilities, with doing something new? I know that's my goal.
- brnt 7y agoHonestly, I think most want an honest wage, or as much as they can get, and then having work that doesn't interfere with their lives outside of 9-5 too much.
