Dart always seems to lag behind TypeScript, for example a lot of the built-in functions return dynamic type because they don't have utility types yet. Personally I'm frustrated Google is investing so much in Dart/Java platform while Rust is far more promising but has a small fraction of manpower dedicated to it.
