I have also been thinking about a P2P radio mesh: http://radiomesh.org http://radiomesh.org I'm a bit stuck at trying to manually change frequency of the LoRa radios. It seems the standard does not allow it but the HopeRF chip I use have methods for selecting frequency and bandwidth around that frequency. If so, that would allow for a multi-frequency protocol over LoRa that could scale!
