Ask HN: What's your experience with online payment processors?

Hi HN, I'm about to launch a product that will require setting up online payments. In the past I have used Payflwow[1] from PayPal, with mixed results [2]. I was wondering what's your experience with payment processors and which one do you recommend! PS I don't need to set up a POS, I just need to process online payments. PPS I prefer products where the funds are transferred directly to my nominated bank account, as it's the case with Payflow. PPPS I am based in Australia. [1] https://www.paypal.com/au/webapps/mpp/payflow-payment-gateway [2] I liked it because the funds are transferred directly to your bank account, but we suffered from a relatively high number of void/duplicated transactions, failures when calling the "Silent POST" URL, etc.
