I would add "The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb which is also mentioned and referred in "Think fast & slow". It also helps understanding the world by showing examples of human error and misconception.
- psv1 7y agoCan I anti-recommend Taleb? Maybe it's his delivery that puts me off but I just find him absolutely insufferable.
- Der_Einzige 7y agoTaleb most likely sees reality more closely to how it is than almost anyone else on earth. Sorry that him dropping truth bombs on everyone was "insufferable" to you
- circlefavshape 7y ago+1 Taleb comes across as a smug asshole. I don't see any reason to spend time in his company
- NxNc 7y agoi cant judge him on what kind of person he is. I only read his book and i learned a lot of stuff that i haven't read anywhere else.
