- stuaxo 7y agoStrongly agree! Companies are so keen to keep their own code, but most don't realise it would be useless to anyone else.
- reilly3000 7y agoRight, it’s like used underwear. A daily driver for one person doesn’t mean it’s a fit for someone else, and even if it is there is no appeal.
- gatherhunterer 7y agoGiven the right circumstances there could be a lucrative market for used underwear. Not mine, but someone’s. Does the same analogy apply to codebases? Probably.

- sixtypoundhound 7y agoActually, there is a market for used underwear. Look up the rag trade - industrial rags and the like. They shred old fabric for use in workshop and industrial applications. The more you know...
