Oakland is to SF as Anaheim/Orange County is to LA
- gamblor956 7y agoUnlike the Bay Area, LA-OC is a continuous sprawl of habitation and commerce.
- mntmoss 7y agoThe only parts of the Bay Area that don't match that description are Marin and Monterey.
- chrischen 7y agoUnlike LA-OC I can take a train from SF to San Jose (the souther tip of the Bay Area) within 1 hour and 30 minutes. (LA-OC takes over 6 hours).
- toasterlovin 7y agoThat’s a weird way to describe things. You can drive from downtown LA to Orange County in less than an hour in rush hour traffic.
- gamblor956 7y agoThis is false. LA to OC by train is 30 to 45 min. LA trains to San Diego or Santa Barbara are only 2 hours and both are much farther from LA than SJ is from SF.
- chrischen 7y agoOk you're right I must have been looking at late night options. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Los+Angeles,+CA/orange+country/@33.8846583,-118.1648721,11z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x80c2c75ddc27da13:0xe22fdf6f254608f4!2m2!1d-118.2436849!2d34.0522342!1m5!1m1!1s0x80dc925c54d5f7cf:0xdea6c3618ff0d607!2m2!1d-117.8311428!2d33.7174708!3e3 https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Los+Angeles,+CA/orange+count...
