2012 MacbookAir is unberably slow with Catalina installed
is there anything to do? or I have no option but to buy a new computer?
Downgrade back to Mojave?
You could try doing a clean install of Catalina if you didn’t already.
Snow Leopard was the last good one. Have no backup?
Install ChromeOS with Linux containers..
