I deal with email spam by dumping all emails from non-whitelisted addresses in the spam folder. My phone has an app to auto reject calls and texts from non-whitelisted numbers. If somebody wants to contact me, they can damned well get my consent first. If they can't be bothered to do that, then they have nothing of value to say to me.
