This is so true, and makes me so sad to think about. I regard formal education as a form of emotional abuse for this very reason.

- cvshepherd 7y agomy adhd was still undiagnosed back in my school days, and i guess i'm kind of traumatised by that time because i regularly have nightmares about it, and am 100% certain i'd ball my eyes out if i ever met that one teacher again. that was almost 30 years ago. edit: and all in all it was a pretty decent school
