Ask HN: Lesser known programming languages for data science?

I have recently started a blog where I write about data science topics but only use lesser known "esoteric" programming languages. I've had a blast writing in J, Hylang, and am looking into others. What other languages would be fun to write about for data analysis? What are some interesting scientific computing languages?
