How does this system protect against ballot stuffing? It seems to have a mechanism for voters to verify that their ballots were counted, but no mechanism for the public to verify that counted ballots correspond to real voters.
- Spivak 7y agoI don’t think any cryptographic system can actually accomplish this because the problem spills into meatspace. A 3rd party could verify each person then sign each vote but then that 3rd party can mint valid votes. And if you have a trusted 3rd party then why do you need a complicated voting system?
