Don't you think that scaling to handle global growth is a feature?
- celim307 7y agoSure, but how come other features can't be released in parallel?
- woah 7y agoUsers throw a huge fit any time the slightest thing changes on twitter
- windsurfer 7y agoNew features can be made without changing the base service.
- qxnqd 7y agoI don't blame them. I signed up in 2009 and I deleted my account a few years ago because, well... Twitter now is not what I signed up for. But I guess they have to move on. Things change, but that does not mean I have to like the changes.
- mendelmaleh 7y agoCorrection: Users throw a huge fit any time on twitter
- giarc 7y agoExcept twitters DAU has been pretty steady at around 300-315 million since 2015. https://www.statista.com/statistics/282087/number-of-monthly-active-twitter-users/ https://www.statista.com/statistics/282087/number-of-monthly...
- hintymad 7y agoYeah, and Twitter’s user base has not increased much. Scalability is not really that much of problem.
