Maybe I’m missing something here, but the Meeting Owl just shows up as a Webcam and doesn’t directly connect to the videoconference. There is a network interface, but it’s absolutely not needed. The beauty of the device is that there are no drivers needed and it works with everything. Now, I supposed you _might_ be able to find a way to cram extra electronics for surveillance in there, but you’re probably better off creating a fake thermostat and sticking it to the wall.
