- tptacek 7y agoI'm not feeling defensive so much as aware that I'm talking to someone whose goal isn't to understand what I was trying to say, and I'm not especially interested in trying to clarify to them.
- loup-vaillant 7y agoLook, I know you and I have some history. But I assure you, I'm genuinely trying to understand. Besides, it's not just about us: other people, (including @carty76ers apparently) would like to know what you would advise instead of "please validate all inputs".
- tptacek 7y agoThis is a weird and kind of creepy message. I'm reacting to the comments you wrote on this thread, not some personal history you think we have. You keep writing things like "surely this is not what you mean" (and, of course, it isn't) and then continue to argue against the argument you imagine I must not? or must be? making. This doesn't seem productive and I'm not interested in continuing. Sorry.
