I always thought it was the other way around - that games make the money. Aren't consoles even usually sold at a loss?
- hnick 7y agoTypically yes. I think Nintendo sometimes turns a profit on consoles due to optimising on other factors than cutting edge power. Consoles can also become profitable over their lifetime as technology matures.
