- giancarlostoro 7y agoI'm not advocating anybody do that, but it's a fun experiment to think about. I've been intrigued about WebAssembly more than ever when I read a comment here on HN that the specs very generic allowing it to be used even outside the web.
- anon73044 7y agoI'll take a WebAssembly desktop app over an Electron desktop app any day of the week
- erk__ 7y agoYou can always run webassembly inside of electron :P Though I agree it could be a nice way to make software avaiable on all platforms.
- giancarlostoro 7y agoThe sweet spot would be something like Sciter supporting WebAssembly.
- pythonaut_16 7y agoWhich makes it a good demonstration of both technologies. Kind of like using Google translate to go from English -> Something -> English. In theory a perfect translation would give you back your original input exactly. Of course this should be more feasible with programming languages than with human languages.
