This is essentially a Luddite argument. This particular product isn't going to be "inserting" itself anywhere, it's just a new way for creators to get paid. Over time, products like this expand the number of "creators" who actually get paid and make it easier to scale to bigger audiences. Nobody is stopping you from putting your hat out on the street or signing with a huge label like you'd likely have to do a few decades ago.
