I feel like I see all those same things and feel happy for the people involved, that they are finding something that they feel a passion for. I also sometimes feel disdain and judgment towards other peoples' interests, (pop music, for example) but I feel more and more as I get older that that those feelings do not serve me (or anyone else) in any positive way.
