Office gives you an environment where you can meet people that you can be friends with. Something a bar/coffee shop..etc, cannot provide easily. My dearest friends are my coworkers. I have been working remotely for two months now and even though it's a great experience, I miss the occasional chit-chat or coffee. I still do that after work, it's just harder.
- Dumblydorr 7y agoWhy can't you make friends at a bar or coffee shop? If you're working 40 hours in the same place as people, I doubt it matters if it's an office or a cafe, you're bound to get to know people unless you're very shy.
- mihaaly 7y agoPrivate life gives you an environment where you can meet people that you can be friends with too, maybe more than the office where you have to do several other things too. Like work.
