Anyone who has followed presidential candidate Andrew Yang knows this. This is why he wants the "American Scorecard" which consists with indicators including life expectancy, suicide rate, drug overdose rate...rather than things like GDP, unemployment. The country is not healthy. Until we put these numbers in the forefront, we will keep trying to just increase GDP at the cost of people's lives.
