Why do so many quit google after less than five years?
How does a company who's product is a push notification when someone clicks get funding?

If the price goes up enough and then relatively flattens out, it can happen that one’s total compensation begins decreasing after the fourth year. That, and 4-5 years is enough time to build a sufficiently large safety net that one can attempt to strike out on one’s own.
