Concur on pthreads and Linux syscalls, but the intrinsics should be cross-platform.
- Const-me 7y agoThey are, when used properly. E.g. to create an SSE register with all 64 bit lanes set to the same value, use _mm_set1_epi64x, to different values _mm_set_epi64x (don't forget to flip the order). No need to use GCC's proprietary __attribute__ ((aligned (16))). Another portable option is C++ and alignas keyword.
