WTO protests in Seattle 2 decades ago have lasting impact
- elcaminocomplex 7y agoI remember this very well. I was living close enough to the commotion to hear whatever it was that was getting set off (smoke bombs?) in an attempt to disrupt the protests at night. I recall pulling off the highway only to see an army Jeep and a soldier with an assault rifle waving me back toward an on-ramp. Haven’t experienced anything nearly as dramatic since.
- kdamsfISJF 7y agoThis was back when the left would actually fight the capitalists and globalists instead of white working class "nazis" who just want fair wages.

- kdamsfISJF 7y agoI have never seen an account banned under that rule for supporting globalism, only criticizing it. Can you post an example to prove me wrong?
