I'm actually working on a tool that aggregates annotations across different services https://github.com/karlicoss/promnesia https://github.com/karlicoss/promnesia (screenshot is a bit old, e.g. currently it's capable of displaying inline highlights as well). I've been using it for almost a year now, but it needs few final touches before I can release it. The 'less technical users' bit is tricky one. I am trying to make it as effortless as possible, but there is some inevitable overhead for running export scripts, configuring etc. I'm also working on a post exploring this overhead and thinking of ways to make it better :)
