  There should be some changes coming to the hearing aid market next year.     That's great news. A few years ago, as due diligence, my GP referred me to an audiologist. She found moderate high-frequency hearing loss in one ear. Which isn't surprising, given my love for screaming guitars. But no way am I spending thousands of dollars on a hearing aid. I'm the sort of guy who'd always be turning it off. And her office just wouldn't give up. They sent periodic reminders for at least two years.
